Buzz’s Lighthouse Restaurant opened for business in March of 1980 and the Lighthouse Inn had already been in business for two years. Buzz and his wife Judy, avid travelers had discovered Naples and Vanderbilt Beach back in the mid 70’s they knew they had found the right place.

Buzz’s Lighthouse Restaurant opened for business in March of 1980 and the Lighthouse Inn had already been in business for two years. Buzz and his wife Judy, avid travelers had discovered Naples and Vanderbilt Beach back in the mid 70’s they knew they had found the right place. They found the perfect piece of waterfront property to build Buzz’s Lighthouse Restaraunt and bought the motel next door in 1978.
It was the vision of Buzz and his partner to open a waterfront restaurant near the beach where the weather is warm and the beer is ice cold. They wanted to create an old Florida feel with incredible waterfront views and fresh seafood strait from the saltwater pantry.
A lot has changed in the area since then but our commitment to providing the best seafood and sandwiches has never changed. We are a family run business that was established over thirty years ago and we continue to provide great food with beautiful waterfront views of Vanderbilt Bay. Currently the businesses are being run by Buzz’s wife Judy and their two sons. We hope that you enjoy our place and we look forward to seeing you.
